Hackers are using PayPal-GooglePay Integration To Make Unauthorized Transactions

Hackers are using an unknown method/s to abuse PayPal accounts linked via GooglePay and making unauthorized transactions. These transactions are observed in Target and Starbucks stores from the US & Germany.

People in Germany reported that their PayPal accounts linked with GPay are being charged with unknown transactions ranging from €1,73 to over €1800.

Many people in New York and North America also reported these unknown transactions from their accounts.

They were seeking help regarding this on facebook groups and PayPal community forum.
